Buh. School is over! I had a good first year of college overall (though I'll be more sure when I get my grades, worryworry) but I had a fun final week. I went to SVA's Fresh Meat comic convention, where I bought lots of prints and also made some of my own! I only sold a few, but it was a fun experience and a good introduction to conventions since I'll be going to AX and Otakon with =leaunoire this summer. It was great to meet people that were serious about getting their art out there, but it just reminded me that I need to start taking it more seriously too. :/

I feel like my gallery is totally underwhelming, and I've been wanting to work on stuff for a while but school came first. Now it's summer and I'd like to really be more productive, so hopefully I won't let myself down.

The convention made me wonder, though, if anyone would be interested if I opened up commissions. This is new for me and I don't think I'd charge too much, especially because I don't have too much to show for myself yet and the only time I ever took a kiriban request I never ended up finishing it because I'm a stupid forgetful turd |: I just wanted to get a feel for how interested people would be or not.
