Fffffffff just wanted to get that old journal off my page

Back in New York City for school! Everything is good so far, my professors are very nice (though I already have a ton of homework) and =leaunoire and I are rooming together in a dorm that is waaaaay nicer than last year's. This one actually feels like a cozy little apartment while the previous one had as much charm as a hospital... A really dirty hospital. Now I just need to figure out how to feed myself without going broke.

I have been in a pretty unpleasant art funk lately but I think I'm finally coming out of it? Being back in school helps. Either way, I'm still working on commissions and... all that stuff fff yeah

Last week I got back from Otakon, I got to stay with =Twelfth he was so hilarious and fun holy crap it was like he excreted magic I had to scrub a shitton of fairy sparkles out of my clothes when I got home ILU PHIM!!! _{ew Sarah weird}

=leaunoire flew back home yesterday which is a sadthing but I get to see her next month and then in September we get to be roommates FOR EVER AND EVER HA HA HA she is going to hate me. The past few days I have been trying to teach myself how to sew so I can make cute useless little character plushies, I'm currently working on a Varus: [link] Right now I'm attempting to make a little body to attach to his misshapen potato lumphead, it's taking about 5 failed tries but I am getting there! I suck at everything lol I'd like to train myself to get better at sewing so I can actually make things on a regular basis, after this I'd like to teach myself how to crochet amigurumi ;3;

I have been feeling weirdly ambitious lately and I WANT TO DO EVERYTHING EVER especially draw better oh god I feel so behind there is so much for me to learn it is so overwhelming and I still have to finish my two commissions I'M SORRY I AM SUCH A LAZY SAD EXCUSE FOR A HUMEN HUMAN BEING PLEASE DO NOT KILL ME

I won't really be selling prints, just little cheapie $1 4x6s of my last deviation and I'll just be sketching or something~

I'm finally back in Pennsylvania from staying with =leaunoire, her family took care of me for like three whole weeks and California is so beautiful ;_; <3

Anime Expo was my very first anime convention ever, so it was a little terrifying at first. But the people there were so kind and I bought a ton of gorgeous prints! So I had an awesome time, it was a great group of people and everyone was really sweet.

This weekend =leaunoire and I going to be doing a switcharoo, she's coming to the east coast to stay with me and I'm going to drive us to Otakon. Exciting exciting! Apparently I am going to be sitting at/sharing a table? I was really just planning on helping her out but I'm going to try to do some whorish fanart in the very short amount of time I have left and make a tinytiny amount of prints ;_; I don't know if I'll make prints of anything in my gallery but suggestions would be cool if you guys actually would want to spend like $3 on a print of that crap lolol

I should find out my table number asap BUT YEAH I'd love to see DA people there c: Anybody else going?
